Ideal Fishing Applications

The 71 length, Medium (M) power, and medium-fast action make this rod highly effective for various micro-lure and finesse techniques:

1. Urban & Structure Fishing:

   • Technique: The compact 71 length is ideal for making accurate, short-to-medium casts in tight quarters, minimizing hang-ups and maximizing lure presentation near structure.

   • Benefit: Provides excellent control for subtle lure movements and quick line pickup, essential in highly pressured areas.

2. Micro-Jigging & Finesse Soft Lures:

   • Technique: Use tiny soft plastics paired with jig heads in the 2g to 7g range. Employ gentle, subtle twitches or a slow, straight retrieve.

   • Benefit: The soft tip ensures the micro-lure moves naturally, while the unparalleled sensitivity transmits the slightest strike or bottom contour.6

3. Small Hard Lures:

   • Technique: Ideal for casting micro crankbaits, spoons, and spinners. The medium-fast action handles the subtle vibrations smoothly and ensures tiny treble hooks stay pinned.7

   • Benefit: The flexible blank prevents small hooks from tearing free, ensuring a secure hook-set on smaller predators.
