Traditional PMD A classic dry fly for Pale Morning Dun hatches.

The Traditional PMD is a time-tested mayfly imitation that perfectly matches Pale Morning Duns, a staple summer hatch on trout waters. Its slim pale yellow body, upright wing, and fine hackle create a lifelike silhouette that rides naturally on the surface, fooling even selective fish. Designed for visibility and durability, this fly is effective in riffles, runs, and smooth pools alike. A proven producer during PMD hatches, its a must-have pattern for anglers fishing spring creeks, rivers, and lakes throughout the season. Shop online or visit Drift Outfitters in Toronto for expert advice and fast shipping across Canada.

A minimum quantity of 2 flies of the same size has been set for this item due to the staff time and labour it takes to fulfill fly orders. In our experience it’s always nice to have a spare if you happen to lose one on a rock or tree branch too!
