Small size & lively tricky action! A topwater plug packed with both ‘attraction’ and ‘appeal’.
Topwater lures have become an essential category for expert anglers, thanks to their potential to lead to ‘overwhelming catches.’ What we sought in the Puppet Surface was a small but highly castable lure, one that combines both ‘fish-catching power’ and ‘high appeal.’ The rod-based action, which emphasizes a balance of speed and pauses, proves to be extremely effective. Regardless of the season, whenever fish show any awareness of the surface, it’s the perfect time to cast. Get ready for an exciting topwater experience that gives you that rewarding ‘catching feeling’!
At first glance, this lure may seem like a surface-cranking bait, but its true identity is that of a topwater plug designed specifically for rod-action-driven attraction. If theres any sign of surface disturbancelike changes in sunlight or windits the perfect time to cast. When fish are on the surface, it’s an obvious opportunity, but it’s also ideal during times like ‘when aquatic insects hatch,’ ‘when leaves or petals fall on the surface,’ ‘when fish are focused on pellets,’ or during the ‘dawn and dusk low-light periods.’ These are all great moments for an easy and effective topwater fishing experience.
