Offering unrivalled strength and saltwater durability, the Ultegra CI4+ XTC represents the pinnacle of surf casting spin reels from Shimano. Drawing upon the weight saving advantages of a CI4+ body construction, the cold forged Hagane Gear and X-Ship combine to produce powerful winding performance and 5+1 shielded A-RB bearings deliver supreme smoothness. To provide the highest level of saltwater resistance, X-Protect has been incorporated and is proven to guard the reels internals from the intrusion of salt and sand. An AR-C spool features to Maximise casting distance, and G Free body shifts the reels centre og gravity closer to the rod whilst Parallel body achieves perfect rod and reel alignment to avoid line slapping during the cast.
