Nash Subterfuge Rucksack XL 50L

The Nash Subterfuge Rucksack XL 50L is a highly versatile and innovative luggage solution for the serious carp angler. Its a rucksack and carryall hybrid that blends the comfort of a rucksack with the practicality and lay-flat access of a traditional carryall. This makes it an ideal choice for mobile anglers, overnight sessions, or longer trips where organized and easily accessible gear is essential.

Core Features and Design Philosophy

The key to the Subterfuge Rucksacks design is its ability to adapt to different situations. Its unique zip open back and lay flat concept allows you to expose the entire contents of the main compartment, making it incredibly easy to find and access your gear without having to rummage around. When youre ready to move, it functions like a standard rucksack with comfortable shoulder straps.

The rucksacks design also incorporates a clever tabletop support system. The shoulder straps can be clipped back to create a flat surface, and an included magnetic tackle tray can be used as a stable work surface for rig tying, holding your phone, receiver, or a hookbait pot.

Key Features

• Rucksack and Carryall Hybrid: This dual-purpose design is what sets it apart. It offers the comfort of carrying a rucksack with the easy, lay-flat access of a carryall. The stiffened center compartment maintains its shape, making it easy to pack and unpack.
• Lay-Flat Access: The zip-open back panel and shoulder straps allow the rucksack to be laid flat. This is particularly useful for storing it under a sleep system, where you can easily reach your gear without having to stand it up.
• Integrated Workstation: The unique design feature of clipping back the shoulder straps creates a stable, flat surface. The included magnetic tackle tray fits perfectly on this surface, providing a tidy and convenient work area for rig tying or sorting your terminal tackle.
• Generous 50L Capacity: With a total capacity of 50 liters, this rucksack is sized for weekend or longer sessions. It can comfortably hold all the essentials, including a 17-liter bucket in the main compartment, which is great for carrying bait.
• Modular External Pockets: The rucksack features four increased-capacity padded external pockets. These are designed for modular storage of other Subterfuge pouches, allowing you to organize your gear to your liking and quickly grab specific items when needed.
• Elasticated Bankstick Loops: Each of the external pockets includes elastic loops, which are perfect for storing banksticks, alarms, or distance sticks. This keeps them secure and easily accessible on the outside of the bag.
• Internal Zipped Mesh Pocket: The main compartment has an internal zipped mesh pocket, which is ideal for storing smaller items you want to keep separate, such as a headtorch, keys, or phone.
• Multiple EVA Grab Handles: The rucksack is equipped with three EVA grab handles, which make it easy to lift and move the bag, especially when fully loaded.
• Waterproof Wipe-Clean Reinforced Base: The base of the rucksack is reinforced and made from a waterproof, wipe-clean material. This protects the contents from damp ground and makes it easy to clean after a session.
• Included Magnetic Tackle Tray: The rucksack comes with a handy magnetic tackle tray that can be used on the work surface or stored neatly in the top pocket.
