Multi-Purpose Rig

Westin Multi-Purpose Rig Versatile double treble hook rig for dead bait fish
The Westin Multi-Purpose Rig is a ready-made double treble hook rig designed for flexible and efficient presentation of dead bait fish. It is aimed at predator anglers who rely on clean, durable deadbait rigs with reliable hook-up rates especially in heavily fished waters.

Construction and materials
The rig is made from 30 lb, 7-strand steel wire, which provides reliable protection against bites and remains dimensionally stable even when fighting larger pike. Camouflage-coloured crimp sleeves ensure a discreet appearance in the water and securely fasten the transitions between the wire, swivels and hooks. The rig is equipped with extra-strong, ultra-sharp treble hooks, which are designed for safe and reliable bite conversion with dead bait fish.

Flexible bait presentation
The double treble hook construction allows variable placement of the hooks on the bait fish, for example in the head and flank area. This allows different attack angles to be reliably exploited, regardless of whether the predator attacks from the side, from behind or from the front. The Multi-Purpose Rig is suitable for various presentation styles and can be used with bottom rigs as well as float or paternoster rigs. This means that a single leader can cover many typical deadbait situations.

Modular stinger system
The integrated multi-purpose stingers are connected to the leader via snap rings and can be quickly replaced if necessary. Worn or blunt treble hooks can thus be replaced without having to change the entire leader. This modular system also allows the rig to be adapted to different bait sizes and shapes, for example by using different treble hook sizes or stinger lengths. This increases the service life and makes the Multi-Purpose Rig a durable, versatile companion for many fishing sessions.
