The John Milner Kingfisher centerpin reel represents over half a century of craftsmanship and dedication to the art of centerpin fishing. Handcrafted in Cranbrook, BC, Canada, the Kingfisher was designed by John Milner, a master reel maker who has been producing some of the finest centrepin reels for more than 50 years. Known worldwide among discerning river salmon and steelhead anglers, the Kingfisher fishing reel has become a respected name in traditional float fishing tackle.

Built for West Coast BC Float Fishing

Designed with Canada’s West Coast river float fishing in mind, the Kingfisher centerpin float reel is perfectly suited for targeting Pacific salmon, steelhead, and bull trout in both slower moving waters and fast flowing rivers. The reels smooth startup and effortless spin allow anglers to achieve precise and natural drifts, whether fishing coastal rivers in BC or other legendary fisheries such as the Great Lakes region.
