Join Matt Martin of Smooth River Guiding this winter at Drift Outfitters for an in-depth afternoon focused on targeting trophy northern pike in Georgian Bay and Ontarios cottage country.

This session goes beyond the vise. Well tie two of Matt’s most productive pike patterns (the Back Bay Deceiver and the Hover Fly) while diving deep into where, when, and why these flies work. Expect discussion on seasonal movement, key structure, presentation, and how to consistently connect with big, aggressive fish.

Pack your vise and tools, bring your questions, and come spend the afternoon talking all things pike with like-minded anglers.

Each student will receive all materials needed to tie 2 proven patterns and will get to take home the flies they tie. Students must have some tying experience for this class.

All materials are provided, students must provide their own fly tying vise and following tools.

• Vise
• Scissors
• Bobbin
• Whip finisher
• Bodkin

Classes are roughly 2 hours in length but may vary depending on the ability of the class.

Please note: Pre-Booking 24 hours in advance is mandatory, walk-ins are not accepted
