Garbolino Landing Net Handle Xslim Anniversary 80 Competition Twin Scoop 1000 – 5.4m – 4 Sections

Garbolino Landing Net Handle Xslim Anniversary 80 Competition Twin Scoop 1000 (5.4m)

The Pinnacle of Technical Engineering for Competition Anglers

To celebrate 80 years of angling innovation, Garbolino has produced the Xslim Anniversary 80 Competition Twin Scoop 1000. This is not just a landing net handle; it is the most technical and high-end handle in the entire Garbolino range. Designed for the elite championship angler, it utilizes High Modulus (HM) carbon to achieve a profile that is incredibly thin, yet exceptionally rigideven at its staggering full length of 5.4 metres.

The Twin Scoop design provides two reinforced, riveted brass threads on different sections. This gives you the versatility of two distinct handles in one: a long, ultra-stiff reach for high banks and technical silverfish work, or a shorter, immensely powerful configuration for commercial carp bagging.

Why the Xslim Anniversary 80 is the Must-Have Elite Handle

• Parallel Section Technology: By using a parallel extension piece, Garbolino has kept the handle ultra-slim without compromising on rigidity. This allows for superior handling in high winds and minimizes the bounce often found in long handles.

• Versatile Length Options: At its full 4-section length with the parallel section, it reaches 5.4m. By removing the parallel section, you have a perfect 4.5m high-end competition handle.

• Twin Scoop Dual Thread System: Features riveted brass threads on both the first and second sections. This allows you to remove the fine tip section to create a shorter, ultra-rigid power handle for landing large carp or for use in tight swims.

• HM Carbon Construction: The use of premium High Modulus carbon results in a featherweight feel. You can hold this handle at full extension for hours with minimal arm fatiguea vital edge during 5-hour matches.

• Exceptional Rigidity: Engineered to remain dead straight under the weight of large match nets, providing the precision needed to scoop fish exactly when they surface.

Ideal Applications & Scenarios

• International Championship Fishing: Designed for demanding venues home and abroad where long reach and absolute precision are non-negotiable.

• High Bank Rivers & Canals: The 5.4m reach is essential for safely netting fish on steep-banked rivers like the Trent or the Wye, where a standard 4m handle simply wont reach.

• Mixed Commercial Matches: Use the full length for technical F1 fishing, or switch to the second thread configuration for maximum power when targeting double-figure bonus carp.

• Wading Tactics: The ultra-slim diameter makes it easy to move through the water while wading, reducing drag and improving netting speed.

Gerrys Pro Tip

This handle is the Formula 1 car of the landing net world. The parallel section is the secret weapon here; because it doesnt taper, it adds incredible stiffness exactly where most handles start to flex. If youre fishing a venue with a lot of flow or wind, the Xslim will cut through the elements while others are struggling. Pro Tip: If you want even more reach, there is a 1.4m extension available separately that can take this masterpiece to a massive 6.8mthe ultimate setup for the most extreme natural venues
