Duo Metal Jig Drag Metal Cast Super Slim 30 grams PJA0045 (1978)

30g | Finish: PJA0045

The Duo Drag Metal Cast Super Slim is a long, narrow casting jig made for distance and speed.

In this 30g, it suits situations where predators are chasing thin baitfish and you need a lure that flies well rather than tumbles through the cast.

The super-slim shape cuts through the air and water better than a chunky jig.

On the retrieve it gives a tighter fleeing-bait action, and on the fall it drops quicker, which helps when current, wind or deeper water would make a wider jig feel lazy and disconnected.

Use a fast straight retrieve for surface-feeding pelagics, or count it down and work it with sharp lifts when fish are sitting mid-water.

If the bite is slow, add pauses after two or three cranks so the jig can kick and flash as it drops.

The limitation is simple: it will not hang in the strike zone like a slow-fall jig.

Pick it when you need casting distance, speed and a slim bait profile, not when fish want a broad fluttering fall.

The PJA0045 finish should be chosen by visibility rather than by name alone.

If it looks natural or silver, use it for clear water and baitfish-matching.

If it has pink, chartreuse, glow or heavy flash, save it for low light, surf, stained water or reaction bites.

The lure’s action and size matter first; the finish fine-tunes how easily fish can find it.

TARGET SPECIES: mackerel, bonito, trevally, queenfish, tailor/bluefish, sea bass and other fast-moving predators.
