Duo Bay Ruf Manic 135 Pencil Sinking Lure CPA0581

Sinking | subsurface pencil action

The Duo Bay Ruf Manic 135 Pencil Sinking Lure CPA0581 is a long sinking pencil built for distance, slim baitfish imitation, and covering open water.

The 135 size gives enough presence for shore casting without becoming a chunky minnow that pushes too much water.

The lure is best fished with a steady retrieve and small speed changes, letting the slim body roll and track just under the surface.

Add pauses or light rod work when fish are following, but do not overwork it like a popper; the strength is in its clean, nervous baitfish line.

Use it around river mouths, surf edges, breakwalls, current seams, and open bay bait schools where predators are hunting slender bait.

It is especially useful when you need casting distance and a natural profile in the same lure.

Its limitation is extreme dirty water.

A slim sinking pencil relies more on profile, flash, and rhythm than heavy vibration, so it is strongest when fish can see the lure or are already tracking bait.

TARGET SPECIES: seabass, trevally, queenfish, tailor/bluefish, flathead, snapper, and other inshore predators feeding around baitfish.
