Daiwa – Revros LT Spinning Reel

REVROS is it now has a ZAION V body which is simultaneously lighter and a lot stronger than what other manufacturers are using at this price-point, typically a nylon-based graphite. This is true carbon resin graphite. It also keeps all the bearings and gears in precise alignment because its a harder, more rigid material. It doesnt bend or lose efficiency while under load fighting a fish.

The new REVROS also features an AIRDRIVE ROTOR and AIRDRIVE BAIL. Especially with these new design changes, the DAIWA REVROS is a great starting point for beginning to avid anglers.

Features:

• ATD Automatic Tournament Drag – Daiwas Automatic Tournament Drag uses an improved drag grease that exhibits a low viscosity at rest, yet becomes more viscous immediately after drag start up. This reduces initial drag start-up inertia and combined with the structural changes of the ATD Drag System results in a smoother drag from the initial hook up.
• Digigear – Daiwas first generation of digitally engineered gear design ensures a perfect mesh between ultra-tough drive gear and pinion gears for optimized speed, power, durability and smoothness.
• Machined Aluminum Handle – Ergonomically correct and screws easily into the body.
• Zaion V Body – A new generation of lightweight Daiwas resin and carbon material. The Zaion V material is both strong and incredibly lightweight.

Specifications:

The new REVROS LT incorporates the LT Concept of light but tough in a proven reel design. The spinning reels weight was reduced by 2 ounces in the 2000 model and a hefty 5 ounces in the 4000 model. The Light Composite Housing greatly improves the strength to weight ratio while still providing a solid framework for the powerful gearing. The Machined Aluminum Handle smoothly transfers power to the main gear. The Air Rotor System is 15 percent lighter than comparable rotors and well balanced for smooth positive retrievals.
