Daiwa 23 Saltist LW Overhead Reel

The Daiwa 23 Saltist LW reel offers a distinct benefit of perfectly laying the line evenly over the spool, a job traditionally done by the anglers thumb instinctively as line is retrieved onto the spool. Sporting a heavy-duty aluminium frame, heavy-duty alloy gears anddual anti-reverse systems, the Daiwa 23 Saltist LW is well-equipped to cop the sort of abuse Australian anglers dish out from day to day. Whether you plan to float-line for snapper or chase reds on the bottom, the new Daiwa 23 Saltist LW will do it and continue to ask for more!

Features:

• Aluminium Body –Lightweight and incredibly strong, aluminium allows strength and weightlessness to be achieved without the cost and corrosion issues of other metals.
• ATD –Daiwas Automatic Tournament Drag uses an improved drag grease that exhibits a low viscosity at rest, yet becomes more viscous immediately after drag start up. This reduces initial drag start-up inertia and combined with the structural changes of the ATD Drag System results in a smoother drag from the initial hook up.
• Digigear –Daiwas first generation of digitally engineered gear design ensures a perfect mesh between ultra-tough alloy drive gears and marine bronze pinion gears for optimised speed, power, durability and smoothness.
• Infinite Anti-Reverse –Daiwa’s advanced system that limits rearward backplay handle movement to almost zero for solid hooksets with less shock to the reel. The result is the elimination of handle slap-back and the unwanted release of line.
• Perfect Line Stopper – Daiwa’snew larger rectangular flexible clip that can be used from all line angles and from light to heavy lines.
