The Aftco Circuit Breaker Ike Jime Tools bring Japanese standards of the highest quality seafood to the North American market, a step in the process that has been scientifically proven to improve fish quality for its smell, texture, and flavor. This tool is used to destroy the full length of the fish’s spinal cord, paralyzing it completely before it is placed into an ice slurry. The wire itself is inserted into the neural canal, all the way to the brain, and should be pulled back and forth to complete break it. Several models are available with different wire lengths and wire gauges, suiting themselves relative to the size and overall length of your catch, from trout all the way to large tuna. The wire itself is memory-resistant, and will not kink or bend even with repeated use. Lightweight, portable, and easily sterilized, the Circuit breaker is one hard tool to pass up on your next trip. Shinkei Jime (Spinal Cord Destruction) Wire Commercial Grade Corrosion Resistant Created by Ike Jime Federation.
