The RIO Blob Stillwater Fly is a highly effective lake fly pattern designed by renowned UK angler Paul McLinden.

Originally created as an attractor fly, the Blob is most effective when fished as the top fly in a two-fly setup, drawing fish in to strike at the trailing point fly. Its bright profile and movement make it an excellent choice for enticing curious fish, while also serving as a deadly daphnia imitation on lakes where these zooplankton dominate the trouts diet. Versatile and proven, the RIO Blob is a must-have pattern for stillwater anglers looking to increase hookups when targeting selective or cruising fish.
