Fulling Mill Jackies Dark Olive Mayfly Dun

Fulling Mill Jackies Dark Olive Mayfly Dun Essential Dry for Low-Light Hatches

Jackies Dark Olive Mayfly Dun is designed for those overcast or low-light days when traditional olive or yellow Mayfly patterns just dont cut it. In these conditions, Mayfly duns often hatch in darker shades even deep brown and trout become highly selective, ignoring lighter flies.

This dark olive Mayfly imitation has been a game-changer during tricky hatches, with consistent results on Lough Arrow and other Irish limestone loughs. Whether you’re fishing under cloud cover or early morning shadows, this pattern helps you match the hatch with pinpoint accuracy.

Key Features:

• Dry Mayfly pattern ideal for darker dun hatches in poor light
• Highly effective on Lough Arrow, Corrib, Mask, Sheelin and beyond
• Encourages confident takes when trout ignore standard yellow/olive flies
• Tied to Fulling Mills renowned quality standards
• Must-have fly for May and June hatches across Ireland

Perfect for selective Irish trout, this fly helps crack tough conditions and makes the difference when other patterns fail. Add it to your fly box before your next Mayfly trip.
